Greetings, Plano Band families!

April is here, and with it comes some of the most exciting moments of our spring semester. From our annual Spettacolo percussion showcase to the long‑awaited Disney Trip, this month is packed with performances, celebrations, and opportunities to support our incredible students. We’re also gearing up for our end‑of‑year Band Banquet, where we’ll honor our seniors and celebrate 75 years of Plano Band excellence. Let’s dive into what’s ahead.

The countdown is on! As we prepare for our spring trip to Walt Disney World on April 18-21, please make sure you’ve completed all required forms and reviewed the final itinerary.

Make plans to join us on Saturday, May 16 for a memorable evening of great food, awards, and dancing as we celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our students and mark the 75th Anniversary of the Plano Band. The banquet is open to all band and color guard members, their families, and friends.

🎟 Ticket Prices

• $0 – Band Students (While banquet tickets are complimentary for band students, an RSVP is required for headcount purposes.)
• $30 – All other guests

Want to help the Plano Band finish the year strong? We’re looking for a few volunteers to assist with planning this year’s banquet. It’s a fun way to get involved and support our students!

As we prepare a special slideshow for our graduates, we’re asking senior parents to submit the following photos by Wednesday, April 15:

• 1 Kid Photo: Baby or childhood photo
• 1 Senior Photo: Any favorite from senior year
• 1 Band Action Shot: Many great options are available on SmugMug from this year’s events

Is your student attending the spring trip? Surprise them with a custom Plano Band Disney Patch for their letterman jacket!

• Cost: $35.72 (includes sewing onto the jacket)
