Hello, Plano Band families! 

Brrrrrrr! 🥶 We hope you’re thawing out after the recent stretch of freezing temps and ice. As we move into February, we’ve got more chances to support our students, enjoy great food, and celebrate music together. 

A big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who donated their time and energy to make last month's Area Auditions a success! We have more volunteer opportunities coming up that also need strong band parent support, including the Swing Dance (rescheduled to Saturday, Mar. 7, due to icy weather). 

Before we jump into those details…let’s talk tacos. 🌮🔥

🌮 Spirit Night — Feb. 5 at Taco Joint

Join us tomorrow night (Feb. 5) at Taco Joint. Mention Plano Band when you place your order and 20% of sales will be donated to the band. Applies to dine‑in and carry‑out.

🎷 Swing Dance — Rescheduled to Saturday, Mar. 7

The show must go on! The annual Swing Dance has moved to Saturday, Mar. 7. If you've already purchased tickets, hang on because they're still valid! We'll also reopen the silent auction before the event — stay tuned!

Your 2025–2026 Family Contribution directly supports student experiences, equipment, clinicians, transportation, and more. If you haven't already, please make payments through your Membership Toolkit account.

  • In Person: Drop check/cash in a sealed envelope labeled with your student’s name into the black box in the band hall.
